On Campus Courses: Students who are enrolled in Midlands Technical College will be able to access all class materials at http:elearn.midlandstech.edu All of my on campus classes will be able to access course syllabi and class materials through the Desire 2 Learn system. **Please note, that I will no longer pass out class syllabi, but you will be able to access and/or download them via DS2 Learn. You will not be able to access the course until you are registered for the respective course. Each course is identified by the section number. For example each course will be listed in the following manner : Soc 101 On Campus A02 You can go to MTC's Online Learning Page http://www.midlandstech.edu/onlinelearning which provides with the necessary information of how to access the course
Directions for downloading power points: Once you click on Print, scroll down and click the box for Slides. Scroll to the next section where it reads Print what and click on the arrow and select Handouts. To the right of that you will see Slides per page. To the right of that you will see a box. Click on the arrow and select the following: (1) if you want to have the lines for notes on the handout, you will need to select the number 3; (2) if you just want to have the slides, you will need to select the number 6, which will not have any lines available to take notes. Lastly, you will go back to your left and under Print you will see Color/grayscale. Click on the arrow and scroll down to you see Pure Black/White . This will allow you to print the slides without worrying about color or clarity of the slides, as all the slides are in color on the web site.
