Things to note in this demonstration:
1. The positioning of the slide on the lip and bar, not both bars. This contains the dye to one end, keeping fingers unstained..
2. The rinsing with water of the slide by mainly letting the water wash over the organism.
3. The  washing/decolorizing of both sides of the slide. This prevents focussing on extraneous material on the back of the slide.
