Bio 112 Weekly Outline

Important Hints and Requirements:
  • Classes
    • Don't put off your readings. This is a demanding science course, and thus too difficult to simply put off and cram at the last minute. This is the major cause of failure or early withdrawal in this class.
    • Don't ignore the web site notes. There are more explanations and pictures of the concepts in your text book but keep in mind that the web notes are the result of my lecture notes, so I think along similar lines when designing tests.
    • Don't put off the homework assignments.  You have 2 assignments due every week you take a test.  They cover very valuable material and you MUST complete 10 of the 14 homework assignments to receive credit for this course.
    • When you have a question about the material, e-mail me.  HoffmanR@Midlandstech.com

Presently viruses are causing problems by riding in on e-mail attachments. Therefore it is important  to remember to include no attachments to e-mail. Such e-mails will be rejected if it has an attachment.

  • Tests
    • Tests are administered on campus by the MTC Assessment Center on Airport Campus in ASC 262.
    • For more details on testing, see the Class Syllabus: Testing.
